Interco began producing mixed metal concentrate (MMC), colloquially referred to as “black mass,” from recycled Lithium-Ion Batteries in 2013; The process has been consistently refined and scaled over the past decade.
Critical Mineral Recovery, Inc is an Interco Trading Inc. affiliated lithium-ion battery processing facility exclusively dedicated to toll processing material for Interco. Interco is responsible for facilitating the commercial, logistics, and administrative aspects of the business. CMR is responsible for processing the material and producing a marketable product. This structure allows both entities to maximize their strengths.
